This year Dickensian Evening will be held on Friday 7th December.

The Christmas Lights are switched on at 5.45pm in the Town Centre.  

Shops are open until 9.00pm.

There will be lots of entertainment on the night; Christmas Carols from local school choirs, Morris Dancers, Stilt Walker, traditional Christmas rides. 

There will be real reindeer on West Street and, of course, Father Christmas will be there too.
