Are you ready to commemorate this special day with us? Tavistock BID, together with the Tavistock Town Council and Heritage Alliance partners, has planned an exciting lineup of events throughout the town centre. It all starts at 12 noon, and wraps up with a majestic Beacon lighting on Whitchurch Down at 9:30pm.

•  Teddy Bears’ Picnic
•  Beacon and Lamp Light of Peace on Whitchcurch Down from 8:30pm

Activities in the town centre will take place from 12 noon until 8pm, and then move on to Whitchurch Down (by the Pimple) where there will be a performance by the Tavistock Fringe singers from 8:30pm, refreshments, and the lighting of the Beacon and Lamp Light of Peace at 9:30pm.
