Plymouth Road Cemetery, given to the people of Tavistock by the 9th Duke of Bedford and opened in 1884, is situated on the outskirts of this ancient Stannary and Market Town in a pleasant rural setting.
A modern extension was gifted in 1946 by Mr Langsford and will provide burial space for Tavistock for a further 25 to 30 years.

Hours of Opening - The Cemetery will be open to the public daily throughout the year from dawn to dusk however please be aware that at certain times access to individual graves may be restricted, for instance when an adjacent grave is being dug.
