The regeneration of the Guildhall Car Park forms part of the Tavistock Townscape Heritage Initiative (THI) and will enhance and improve the setting of the surrounding medieval and 19th-century Gothic buildings including the Grade II* Listed Guildhall which is currently being restored.
The scope of works under this contract includes:
- installing new surface finishes, including a new lawn area
- improvements to lighting
- respositioning the Grade II Listed statue of the 7th Duke of Bedford
