Devon Wildlife Community of the Year Awards 2021/22
Tavistock Town Council and local community groups such as the Tavistock Community Gardeners as well as the Friends of the Green Burial Wildflower Meadow have been taking action to restore and improve habitats for our wildlife. In recognition of the communities hard work Tavistock came second in the Wildlife Parish & Town Council of the Year Award.
Councillor Ursula Mann, and volunteers Ali Sedgwick and Hili Mole, joined other nominees at the awards ceremony held in Exeter last week where Devon Wildlife Community celebrated those who are having a real impact in giving Devon’s wildlife a helping hand.
